INTERVIEW: JULIA PASCAL
The director and playwright explains to Aleks Sierz the politics and psychology behind her new play, Honeytrap (New Diorama), which tells the story of a Swedish-born mother who decides to work for Mossad, helping to avenge the killing of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games. Recorded: 21 October 2011.
The play explores the cycle of revenge. As the Chinese proverb says, ‘If you want revenge, you’d better dig two graves. Your own and the other person’s.’
