WEST END REVIEW: OCTOBER 2012
Mark Shenton (Sunday Express) and guests Kate Bassett (Independent on Sunday), Henry Hitchings (Evening Standard) and Matt Wolf (International Herald Tribune) discuss the latest batch of major revivals: Berenice (Donmar Warehouse), Three Sisters (Young Vic), All That Fall (Jermyn Street) and Scenes from an Execution (National Theatre). Recorded at Dewynters, 26 October 2012.
Whether this [All That Fall] will survive the transfer to the Arts Theatre I rather doubt. I think the intimacy of that little space on Jermyn Street was crucial to its success, this quarter-staged production may seem rather lost in a 350-seat proscenium arch.
