ASIAN VOICES: VINCENT EBRAHIM
The actor talks to Suman Bhuchar about his role as Dr Baig in Abhishek Majumdar’s The Djinns of Eidgah (Royal Court), a play about the Kashmir insurgency, and also about his career in the theatre and on television. Recorded at the Royal Court, 25 October 2013.
The new generation of actors, it seems to me are perhaps unburdened by the immigrant experience – the struggles that actors of colour have had to endure in order to make something of their careers to make their marks on their profession.
