INTERVIEW: Kate O’Flynn. One of the stars of what is likely to be the pick of Edinburgh 2016, The Glass Menagerie, talks to Philip Fisher about playing Laura Wingfield in Tennessee Williams’ classic, its director John Tiffany, her stage career and working with Mike Leigh.

“It’s a given with Laura that she is fragile and is not someone who’d be able to function on her own in the outside world… We’ve explored what else there is to her. A person is not one thing. We’ve tried to get away from the idea that she’s just a victim.”
