Philip Fisher catches up with the Australian Saturday Night Fever heartthrob in Paris, where he is starring in director Jude Kelly’s 2005 ENO revival of Leonard Bernstein’s On the Town (Theatre du Chatelet).
It was the first musical that the ENO was performing and so there was the hype and the controversy that came with that.
