The actor, writer and cricketer talks to Philip Fisher about returning to the part of Billy Flynn in Chicago (Cambridge Theatre), highlights of his career, and his latest book, Fatty Batter (Ebury).
I did nine shows at the York Theatre Royal, in a three-week rep turnaround: today, a young actor would need ten years to get that experience.
