Paul Miller explains the rich pickings at the Orange Tree theatre
in London Fringe, Regional Theatre, Theatre People
27th May 2015
INTERVIEW: PAUL MILLER. As he unveils his second season as artistic director of the Orange Tree Theatre, Richmond, Miller talks to Dominic Cavendish about picking up the baton from Sam Walters, the theatre’s long-serving founder, coping with a huge, unexpected Arts Council funding cut and why the future’s… orange. Recorded at the Orange Tree theatre, 22-05-2015.
“There has to be change in arts funding. Things cannot just simply stay the same. So one has to be philosophical about that, and we have to find a way of doing business in a new way, that looks for support from private sources, whether that be from individuals or businesses or trusts or foundations.”
