The director of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s new production of First Encounter: The Taming of the Shrew in conversation with RSC Events Coordinator Nicky Cox. This production is a shortened version of the Shakespeare play aimed at young people and schools. He discusses the way it has been edited, the techniques he has used to make the story and setting more accessible to young people and what he thinks can make Shakespeare exciting and relevant today.
