In April 2023 a group of leading theatre practitioners and campaigners came together for a panel talk about sustainability in theatre as part of the V&A’s annual Performance Festival. From the theatre Green Book to what we mean by sustainability and why we even make theatre, the discussion covered a huge amount of ground. Taking part were: director Katie Mitchell, Alison Tickell from Julie’s Bicycle, actor Fehinti Balogun, designer Soutra Gilmour, academic Kathleen McKee and chair Professor Roberta Mock. Recorded at the V&A’s Lydia and Manfred Gorvey Lecture Theatre on the 22nd April, 2023.
