THEATRES TRUST CONFERENCE 2014 SPECIAL
Sir Peter Bazalgette, Chair of Arts Council England, outlines current funding strategies aimed at maximising community involvement in and benefits from the arts, as part of the wider session chaired by Gwilym Gibbons. Recorded at Leeds City Varieties, 28 April 2014.
The mission is bring great art and culture to everyone. All of our funding is directed ultimately to communities. And where there isn’t as yet wide arts provision or audiences for arts, we’re looking to build those creative communities so they can make quality applications in the future.
