in Adaptation, Edinburgh Festival and Fringe, Playwrights
5th April 2018
INTERVIEW: ZINNIE HARRIS. A bracing and original voice, the playwright Zinnie Harris talks to critic Mark Fisher at the end of a bumper year. Discussing her four major works that played on British stages in 2017 – Meet Me at Dawn, This Restless House, Rhinoceros and (The Fall of) The Master Builder – they examine the art of adaptation, and how playwrights seek inspiration in the canon, even as they butt up against it. Recorded at the Royal Lyceum, Edinburgh on Thursday 16 November 2017.
